Andy you've done every challenge with your car but not episode 4 why not? You've always said that if you were going to ask the teams to put there cars threw it then you should do it too. i'm not critisizing just wondering. and oh ya you must have been freaking when evo wrecked and then the dart rolls it AFTER the challenge. And again thank you for your participation on the forums and great show.

We did, the Mustang was used in every challenge test and most of the time it is also the car seen in the hero run footage. I drove the car myself testing this challenge at the prsion but when we came to film the hero run the car had had to go off set for replacement tires and wheel balancing so we used the stunt car (I drove this too).

Sure did enjoy tonights episode. Just too bad two cars got torn up pretty bad. Driver error in both cases!!       I feel their pain.

Hope Team Dart can get it together for the next episode. I'm sure they will with everyones help. I know I would have been there to help get it done for sure.

So, If Team Dart cant get it together, what happens to Team Evo.?  They don't have a car either ?   It seems Team Evo was out of there tonight or very soon therafter anyway. 

Can they enter another car if theirs is not capable of continuing ? 

Does the show go on without either of them ? No doubt I will have to wait til next week.  

Obvious answers I guess, but it's television, and things don't always go like we think on this end.....

 I have a question regarding the challenge: Was the time when the driver/navigator were putting on the helmets, and fastening their seatbelts counted in the total time? To me, it seemed that Evo really was faster all around except they struggled a lot getting the safety equiptment on.

(I was thinking at the time: Just go, forget the seatbelts and helmets! Little did I know what would happen a minute later....)

Best episode yet!! Outstanding!! My wife and I BOTH about pissed ourselves multiple times it was so funny. NEXT.......

That show was awesome - yet heartbreaking!  As a fellow Mopar lover - that hurt when the beautiful Dart rolled - but all is fair in Bullrun!

We will have to rep Mopar without crashing for Season III - hopefully ;)

If the EVO guys are really taking legal action, he wouldn’t be able to comment on that unfortunately. The situation with their car could be a whole other thing though. Now that this episode has aired, I would imagine EVO could spill additional details to their predicament.

Essentially as I see  it

1) They were given the chance to walk the track?
2) They were given the option to stop at the fence or just tap it?

If the driver decided to choose a different route, he obviously should have inspected the track and the area he would have been aiming for. Rookie mistake and he paid with the heavy damage on the car.

This is what makes the show intense to watch and why I am insanely hooked. The calculated risk, intuition and balance you have to maintain to make through the challenges, let alone the long driving hours and having to reach out to countless strangers to find your way around. I can’t wait for casting to begin!!!

There are people outside the car that give them the GO signal one they're all strapped in, helmets and seatbelts.  Elvis or Steve made a post about that one about the JetSki challenge. Plus you can see a person outside the Evo before they start off after they both get in.

I've got a question.  There was still frame shots of the Dart going over, but no video was shown of it happening.  Why wasn't video shown?

Excellent question and a good spot. The clock still runs during helmet, safety belts etc..Chris in the evo was messing around putting his gloves on! You may actually see me in one of the shots coruching down by the car giving the all clear to go when they've done all the safety stuff.

Of course, it's on the back of the car so you guys would see a lot of it......

Because they crashed their car off-set and off camera when they were taking it back to the paking lot!

I've not had a letter yet from a lawyer representing Evo. No one has stopped Evo getting their car though it seems convenient for them to be saying we're stopping them.

Everyone gets walked / driven through every challenge andn then every team signs off to say they understand exactly what they're being asked to do and are ok with it. The clock stop when they hit the fence so it could be tapped if they wanted to do it (it's actually plastic that looks like metal). Bottom line here is Chris crashed the Evo as he went off the course, I'm not sure what else to say??

I think with the amount of problems between team Evo and VW, I dont think I understand WHY team VW had more hostility than was justified.  Im not saying team Evo were anything less than a couple of jerks, but I do have a question

Was there some non broadcasted all ready existing hate there?

I thought hanging their jacket off the Evo was a little bit overkill.... That jerk was already having the worst day of his life....

I have a strange question.

While I watched everyone peel off at the start of leg one, I was wondering the following:

Are the teams told to take it easy when leaving the gate?  You know, so they don't spray the flag girls with rocks and dirt?

The roots of my inspiration for this actually go back as far as the old Cannonball...I've been a car enthusiast for as long as I can remember (can't really call myself a car nut, because I don't have the technical know-how like some of the folks running the race AND I don't have the 10-car garage like Goldberg!).  I've always wanted to do a big cross-country run.

Back in August 2007, I really did.  The gov't agency I work for relocated me back to St. Louis from Honolulu; I picked up my still-fairly-new Pontiac Grand Prix GXP at Long Beach, and my wife/daughter/and I caravaned all the way from LA to Missouri; actually stopped at a gas station across the street from Shelby's HQ in Vegas!  My wife had to peel me off the fence...we still had over 300 miles to go that day.  Got a chance to see parts of the country that I don't think I'll ever see again...

Anyway, I digress.  I'd be genuinely interested.

Is there a posting online of the official rules of the show?  I'm curious as to who's really breaking what rules.  Sometimes races are won or lost in the details and since so many people question the challenges and speeding, it would be cool to see where the players went wrong.

There's a lot of Bullrun 'nut jobs' out there but we love you all! The commercials are cut purely to generate interest in the epsiodes so y'all watch them!

Haha..great question, there are rules known to the drivers (not known to the audience) and then there are off screen penalties known only to Production (and not drivers)... But bottom line is the results are the results..slowest casr go home!

Yep, depends on the location and the terrain, safety is always our priority so we'll tell the drivers to take it easy where we need to but we also make sure the girls are standing in safe places too.
